Are you just as excited about the holiday season as I am? I cannot wait for the quality family time and even indulge in some of my favorite foods in the upcoming weeks. As amazing as holiday foods can be, it can be really hard to keep up with your health and holiday wellness goals during this time. That's why we are going to look at how to stick with holiday wellness goals through the holidays!

A Plan For Holiday Wellness Goals
1. Make sure you exercise every day.
Even if you are staying put this holiday season, make sure you’re getting your blood flowing and keeping up your healthy exercise routine. A 10-minute walk around the block may not seem like much, but it can make a huge difference! Get yourself a warm jacket, cute hat and a good pair of walking shoes.... these are my favorite! My exclusive collection of Easy Spirit walking shoes are the best, they are sooo comfortable, supportive and cute too! You'll be set and ready to continue those outdoor walks, even when it's colder outside!!2. Don’t skip any meals throughout the day.
This is a tough one... How can you even think about eating breakfast and lunch when you know you’ll be loading up a plate of turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing in just a few hours? No matter the size of the meal, it’s important to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and healthy snacks every day to keep your metabolism working as it’s supposed to. Eating throughout the day will also keep you from over indulging on just one meal. The Eating Plan in my membership includes healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks so you fill up on the nutrients you need to stay full and satisfied.3. Find healthy ways to release your stress and tension.
Instead of letting typical holiday stress and tension build up in your mind and body, find a healthy way to release them throughout the season. Yoga in the morning, stretching before bed, or diffusing an essential oil...one of my favorites is lavender! My membership has a wonderful Yoga Refresh Challenge - a perfect way to get exercise AND release that built up stress and tension.4. Drink water every day.
Sipping on holiday beverages can make you even more dehydrated than normal. To avoid getting too dehydrated, be conscious of the amount of water you’re drinking. And if you’re drinking alcohol, try to drink at least eight ounces (or a glass) of water in between each drink.5. Don’t beat yourself up if you over-eat or skip a workout.
The holidays are about enjoying time with family, relaxing, and indulging a little bit! If you miss a workout or eat a bad meal, don’t beat yourself up about it! One bad decision won't make or break you and just remember that every little bit of movement counts and helps you stay healthy and reach those wellness goals!I hope these holiday wellness goals help YOU this holiday season - because you are worth it!!
